Veterans Day

Veteran Day is always held at the Amphitheater on November 11Th at 1100am. Services provided by the Memorial Honor Detail Color Guard and Staff.

Unclaimed Veteran Services

Since 1992 patriots from RNC Staff ,RNC Support Committee and the Community have gathered to honor the 35 or so "Indigent or Unclaimed" Veterans who are interred each month at Riverside National Cemetery. They are homeless, indigent or have just lost touch with family and friends.

The Ceremony:  Their names are given...their rank...branch of Military service and era of service are acknowledged before those in attendance...the traditional Navy bell is rung after each name...the March AFB Honor Guard snaps to attention and the firing party honors these Veterans with the traditional 3 volley rifle salute...the bugler fades in with Taps...and finally the American flag is presented to an audience member..."On behalf of a Grateful Nation" for this Veteran's faithful service! A Chaplain concludes the service with a comforting thought.

When:     On the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:00am

Where:     Shelter F, Riverside National Cemetery,22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside,California 92518
